Postive Crowd at AgInvesting Forum

Networking before the kick off
Panelists in flight
Great questions from the floor
Refreshments to liberate the curiosity
New contacts and interesting conversations
Aux Venture's CEO and Managing Director Jennifer Wainwright was a panelist at the recent AgInvesting Forum in Sydney last Tuesday, joining fellow industry colleagues Sarah Nolet (Agthentic), Ben Waters (FTI Consulting) and Craig Shapiro (Blue River Group). The panel was guided on key topics of interest across investing in agriculture and agtech by AgCrowd CEO Matt Hinds and the room was filled to capacity with curious and enthusiastic investors as well as stakeholders keen to know more about opportunities and investing pathways.

A truly rewarding sector to invest in, agriculture has previously been limited to only large direct or funds based investors due to the lack of adequate pathways for small-sum contributors or retail investors to participate. The evolution of crowd funding and a growing interest in funds based investment with smaller minimum investments like AgFood Fund, means there are now new exciting opportunities developing for everyday Australian's to invest in Agriculture.
On the other side of this equation, small agricultural or agtech opportunities are increasingly able to raise effective capital that can allow a growth and proliferation of innovation into the sector. With possibly the greatest responsibility to contribute to the sustainability of Australia's landscapes, Agriculture is in great need of capital to allow the sector to develop, adopt and innovate world's best practice and technology to ensure the future of food is healthy and sustainable - and AgCrowd are doing their little bit for that.
Jennifer was encouraged by the enthusiastic conversations, and by the interest from investors that are considering the ag sector for the first time.

There is an evolution happening in ag investment and it will bring great rewards to farmers, consumers, the community and the environment. Aux Venture is excited to be a part of it.
So, a big thank you to AgCrowd for the invitation to join the panel - we look forward to the next discussion about exciting opportunities in Aginvesting.
